(1/2/2008) - Gunderson’s located in Sioux City, owned by Brian Gunderson, was awarded the prestigious title of Accredited Gem Lab by the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO). “The requirements for an Accredited Gem Lab are the most stringent. Our guidelines for our program encompass not only the study of gemology with the Gemological Institute of America, but also the ability to utilize specific recommended gemological equipment in-house. We want our members to be the best and most proficient retail jewelers in the industry,” says IJO President Jeffrey Roberts.
